Appearance: The Mad Hatter wears a black top hat with a gray scarf wrapped around his hat with cards sticking out. He also has on a black Victorian coat with a gray steampunk jacket and a Victorian shirt underneath. The Man Hatter wears a black belt with Victorian pants and dark brown boots.

Personality: The Mad Hatter is a cool, calm, but cruel and pure evil man. He has a love torturing the ones the hates, and has no mercy on killing or torturing the ones he hates. He creeps some people out by telling them threats and how he will torture or kill them if he doesn't get what he wants. The Mad Hatter loves toying with his victims. He seems to be very calm when our hero Serge and his friends first meet him in the story, but slowly, he goes well, pretty much mad. When insane, he swears more then he does, starts talking and answering himself, and his eyes twitch. Besides all of the other people that he hates, he hates Serge the most. Serge keeps stopping and messing up his plans which is one of the things that he hates about him, the other thing that he hates about Serge is that no matter how many times he tries to kill him, it never works. Because Serge can heal himself and bring himself back to life. The Mad Hatter also hates Hazel and messes up his plans. But she always does a much better job at tricking and playing pranks on people then anyone else. He is only using Terra to lead him to where Serge and his teammates are going. When Charlotte goes inside his head, she tires to kill him and his dreamer but fails.

Biography: No one seems to know his past or where he's from. But from what everyone knows, he was not born. But what they don't know is that he is a doll of The Toy Maker. The Toy Maker (Luna's "dad",) made The Mad Hatter because when his brother died from a fire. The Toy Maker got some old doll parts, and some clocks parts. He made the clothes by himself. The Toy Maker spent a lot of time making his new brother. After he was done making his new brother. After he was done, he named the doll, John. After his brother. He spent a lot of time with "John". They spent a lot of time together. They play cards, had tea, went on walks, and help people get better. That night, a ghost of an crazy old man that was in the war, came and possessed him. The doll went into The Toy Maker's bedroom and tries to killed him but fails. He goes into The Tower of Destruction where an orb that use to belong to a goddess called Rosetta before she was killed. The orb had all of the powers, abilities, and strength know to man. He broke into the tower and took the orb and sucked all of it's powers out. The Mad Hatter found out that a human (Serge) was just born with powers that can heal and bring himself and others back to life. So The Mad Hatter went into the tower that he was born in and killed his mother and father. He looked for the human baby, but couldn't find him anywhere. Years later, The Mad Hatter's powers were growing. He was trying and trying to find him. One day, one of his men came to his tower, The Hatter's Tower and told him that Serge is in Earth. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't find a way to earth. He found out that a two boys, Jett and Nicholas, and a girl, Luna made two books call Fatal Destruction. One book is an entrance to The Realm of Madness, and the other one can go to earth. He attempt to steal the book that leads to earth, but Jett and Luna started to fight with The Mad Hatter, while Nicholas made a black hole to send the Fatal Destruction to earth. After all of that, The Mad Hatter told them that he'll get revenge on them and left them in shock. The Mad Hatter found out that there was a stone that can go to earth and The Realm of Madness. But since it was impossible to find, he had to get some people that have powers that were strong as his. He found Crystal when she was about to have her head cut off. He met Topaz and Emerald in the woods and ask them if they wanted to join him to help him get the stone. The 4 of them went to Jack's village and killed his family. Emerald grab Jack when he was sitting by his dead father and mother. When Emerald brought him outside, The Mad Hatter ask him if he knew where the stone was. When Jack told him he didn't know, The Mad Hatter cast a spell on him that blinded people. Later, he sent Emerald, Topaz, and Crystal to start a fire on a town that Raquel and Sora lived in. When Serge, Hazel, Terra, and Charlotte came into The Realm of Madness, he sent Emerald to kill Serge, but Serge kept healing himself during the battle with Emerald. The Mad Hatter found Terra when he was stealing gold. The Mad Hatter told Terra that if he helped him, he can grant any wish he wanted. The Mad Hatter is now trying to find a way to kill Serge.
